Meet Yuma! He is a sweet boy who
arrived at Rough Start on 7/21 with his herd mate Shikoba. Yuma was purchased on accident. No one else was bidding on him, and a man at the auction who left his paddle with his brother-in-law returned back to his seat only to find out that they had purchased the bay gelding. Outraged he reluctantly agreed to keep the
gelding on his property, and eventually Yuma was abandoned and officially
belonged to the man. Yuma is a unique, special boy because on his left back leg he does not have a white sock, but instead a grey one! He truly has odd, beautiful coloring. He has an Arabian face, and is very tall for his age. When
he was brought in, Yuma was fairly under weight, and in person you can count his ribs and spinal vertebre. Yuma has never been handled by people and flinchs away from every touch.
