Autumn's story
I have a very aristocratic look and the attitude that goes with it! I love to be the boss!! I have the most beautiful, large green eyes and I do have a shorter tail. And yes, I do come with attitude plus!! I was born in 2005 and so have just turned 12 years old.
I have been at the Adoption Center for several years now and I would love to find a home of my own, unfortunately I dont know how to go about it! I love to lie in laps but you can only pet around my head as I am very sensitive around my tail and hips and I will give you a little nip to let you know do not touch!
When in a foster home I loved to sleep in bed with my foster mom and on top of her head was the best place! I would enjoy being in the same room as my person.
I am still playful and will have spurts of energy. Age is starting to catch up to me and I am slowing down and am starting to enjoy a warm place to nap and canned food more than playing with toys.
I would be best as an only cat and often my attitude can be ornery because of the other cats here at the Adoption Center. I am also not fond of dogs and older children would be best. I need to find a home that will appreciate my cat-attitude!
There are signs that I do have arthritis in my hips and as I get older may need supplements or medication for this problem. While these are not extremely expensive, they will be an additional cost to help keep me healthy and pain free and my new owners would need to be prepared for this.
My adoption fee is $40.  I have been spayed, micro chipped, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and vaccinated for distemper and rabies.  I have had a few dentals and now have annual senior blood panels run to make sure I am healthly.
